Do's and Don'ts
What we expect from you as part of a safe, transparent research relationship.
Do's
- Always deal only with a SEBI-registered Research Analyst
- Verify that the Research Analyst holds a valid, current registration certificate
- Check the SEBI registration number before subscribing to any service
- Cross-check registration against SEBI's official list of registered Research Analysts on the SEBI website
- Read all disclosures in a research report carefully before acting on it
- Pay subscription fees only through banking channels, in the company's name, and keep signed receipts
- Review the underlying research recommendation before buying securities or applying to a public offer
- Ask questions and clear any doubts before acting on a recommendation
- Report any Research Analyst offering assured or guaranteed returns to SEBI
Don'ts
- Do not hand over funds for investment directly to a Research Analyst
- Do not fall for enticing advertisements or unverified market rumours
- Do not be swayed by limited-time discounts, gifts or other incentives offered to act quickly
- Do not share the login credentials or passwords of your trading and demat accounts with anyone, including your Research Analyst
How a complaint gets resolved
Raise it with us
Contact our support team first. We aim to resolve grievances within 30 days.
Escalate to SEBI SCORES
If unresolved to your satisfaction, escalate through SEBI's SCORES portal (SEBI Complaints Redress System) — a centralized online platform that takes up complaints with the concerned intermediary and lets you track resolution status.
